Welcome to OMHPS
Online Model Horse Photo Shows (OMHPS) is a platform to photo show model horses on an online interface. Built from the ground up, this website will allow you to show your horses, keep track of their placings, host your own shows, and enjoy a fun, competitive environment. The competitions are open to model horses of any make and model including Breyer, Stone Horses, Schleich, CollectA, artist resins, customs, and china/porcelain.

Billakos Model Horses 2nd Show

Welcome to the second model horse show hosted by Billakos Model Horses! This is a benefit show to help me maintain my model horse blog/website and to support a local charity that helps equines. The entry fee is $3, and you can find more information, the schedule, and how to pay here: https://billakosmodelhorses.com/shows/modelhorseshows. In this show, there are 2 divisions: one for Breyer Collectability and a fun Performance division for resin, Breyer, and Peter Stone horses. There will be certificates awarded to the top 3 in each class (top 6 for 30 or more entries, top 5 for 25 or more entries, top 4 for 20 or more entries), and to the top 3 in sections and divisions. The winners must contact me to receive their award. These certificate like awards can be saved or printed to be placed in winning folders!

Hey, photo showers! Horse fest season is nearly upon us and there's lots of activity on the site right now. We wish safe travels and speedy internet connections for everyone participating in the various activities coming up in a few weeks.We've been tinkering away behind the scenes with small updates, bug fixes, and the like. A lot of it is not particularly notable since most of it has to do with small optimizations to make everything run a bit smoother, but here are a few changes from today's update:
Shows can now have class entry limits per model, per show type (halter, performance, collectability, or workmanship). Previously, this was all one single number across the whole show. This should help prevent extra entries where there shouldn't be, and allow enough entries where there should be. For example, a model can be limited to one halter entry across the whole show, but be allowed ten performance entries.
Additionally, classes can now also be restricted to purebred horses only - that is to say, horses that only have one breed selected. This should help filter out classes better for showers and hosts alike so that, for example, your Shire x Quarter Horse cross doesn't have both a pure draft horse class and a pure stock horse class available to enter, only the part/cross classes that are most applicable.
There are a few other small formatting tweaks and adjustments here and there. We hope these updates are helpful! And, as always, happy showing :-)

Hey, photo showers! Just a quick update for you all. We've been working on small bug fixes and optimizations behind the scenes and have just pushed some of them today. One of the updates relates to show opening and closing times, which should now show your local timezone and specify as such. Much less confusing!We also wanted to mention since we are seeing a lot of documentation photos being uploaded in this manner lately: alternative images are not for documentation and render your documentation useless if uploaded there. Alternative images are meant to be extra photos of the model that you may want to use instead of the main image you uploaded (for example, of the model's offside, on a different background, etc.). Judges are not able to see alternative images when they are judging classes unless you entered that image instead of the main one, which means they'd only see the documentation and not the model. Either way, the judge will not see both model and documentation, so it doesn't do any good to upload documentation there. If you have Premium, you can upload your documentation image onto the references tab. If you don't have Premium, upload your documentation on another site (such as Google docs, Imgur, etc.) and link to them in your references text field. That way judges are sure to see both and judge accordingly, and your lovely documentation isn't rendered useless.
